Industrial Innovation Center (IIC)
As part of the National Program for Enhancing Economic Diversification (Tanfeedh), the Omani government supports the Industrial Innovation Center (IIC) which is owned by Mubadrah. It aims to promote cooperation between industrial, academic, and governmental sectors in order to create an industrial knowledge base. This will be achieved via programmes concerned with innovation, empowerment, technology transfer, intellectual property policies, and human capital development, all of which will increase the global competitiveness of the Omani industrial sector. This is in line with the Tanfeedh objective of raising the contribution of the industrial sector to the gross domestic product (GDP) of the Sultanate.
